Body-shock Saturday

Please vote on the poll on page 3! (the 3rd heart page)

I went to Maika's Bunkasai yesterday. I'm so sick of our train line! The train I wanted to get on to get there only comes every other train. I got lost on the way, but I followed some High School students and I eventually got there. I thought Maika's class had the best theme. They sold stuff from Thailand, and then they're going to spend the money they got on a Christmas present for the children in Thailand! Isn't that nice? So I bought some bracelets. I even helped sell stuff. We walked around the whole school but only other thing I enjoyed besides Maika's class was the ice-cream-topped waffles that another class sold. I helped clean up when it was done and waited for her because we were going to go take purikura afterwards. But when we get to the train station and I call my mom, it ends up that they'd been trying to call Maika's cell phone forever, but Maika said her phone didn't say she had any missed calls. Anyways, my mom wanted me to be home in 30 minutes because she wanted to got to the Relief Society broadcast at Senzokuike, and I had asked to go with her because Emi was going to be there. And they had been trying to get ahold of me, but they couldn't so I had been totally hanging out. So I had to hurry home as fast as I could. I started to run home once I got to our station, but I was running so fast I sware I burst an organ open, and it hurt for hours afterward. I met up with Tash and mom on the way there, and we went on the train. We got there in time luckily. But because of all the things I did that day and because I got so stressed out about getting home, I came down with a cold. I'm tired of being sick all the time!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Relaxing Friday

Yesterday I finally got to work on my flower garden quilt. I luv it! I've worked hard on it, and I'm very proud of myself. I've been catcing up on my assignments...luckily all of them weren't time consuming except my life story. Still haven't done that yet. I'm going to go to Maika and Mana's Bunkasai today. I can't wait. Nice Tashi will babysit the 2 little chibs for me. (My mom and dad are at some sort of reflexology therapist place). Oh yes, I finished Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. I liked it. That betrayal...was evil! And the Half-Blood Prince was _ _ _ _ _?! What?! Big surprise!
And I finished Jane Eyre too. Two very different books!

Temple Night

Yesterday we went to the temple! We met up with Maika and went on the train together. This time we went with another ward, because they make up for us. They have all the Young Men in their ward and we have all the Young Women. So when we get together with that ward it makes it even. We got there extra early so we could eat McDonald's for dinner and then have some ice cream at Baskin Robins. All of that food was full of fat and sugar...oh dear...
Then we got to come home with Maika too because our train line was having problems! Yay!

Aly & AJ are two sisters whose ages are close together like me and Tashi. Their full names are: Alyson "Aly" Michalka and Amanda Joy "AJ" Michalka. AJ is my age, and Aly is 23 months older. They're from Disney Channel, and I like them!

Yay! I got out of the house!

*Sharpay, Ryan, Taylor, and Chad*

So yeah, yesterday morning I had just started on my schoolwork when my mom gets a phonecall. It's from Sister Vilburn. "I'm sick" she says. Maybe she doesn't want to me to shout out to the whole world, but she got an infection you get when you nurse your babies (she has a 1 month old). Most moms who nurse their babies get it. My very independent, loud, strong, blunt aunt got it 11 years ago and my mom went to go take care of her. My mom said she was crying like a baby. So yeah, if that tells you how bad it is...But I had to be there in 15 minutes because Sister Vilburn had called a Taxi at 10 am, and is paying the guy by time, so if I was late, she'd have to pay for all that time I was late. I always do my schoolwork in my pajamas. I'm never ready at that time of day. And I had to be ready in 15 minutes!!! Aaaaahhhh! I scrambled around and got there on time somehow. My one time-passing baby-sitting tool was forbidden:
"The kids can't watch any more tv/videos. They've watched enough already!"...oh no...
I had to read books and play with them instead. I'm used to that, and there's nothing wrong with it, but when you do that each minute feels like an hour. Movies makes the time go by faster.
Well, the one good thing was I got to borrow Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. I know, I know. I'm behind.
After I baby-sat our family went to Ito Yokado and I bought some school supplies. You don't need that much with homeschool, but you still need folders to seperate your classes and assignments and stuff.
My singing teacher said I'm not progressing. Now I have to practice everyday or something...wah!!!!!!!!!!
I took a walk with dad for an hour last night. I need to excersize more...
Tonight we're going to the temple! Yay!

HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL fanatic

*Fall is here!*

I didn't even do anything interesting or important enough to write about yesterday. Really. I wanted to get out but then it had to start raining. I hate rain!
Hopefully we'll go somewhere fun today.

Boring Monday

I didn't leave the house yesterday...except to ship stuff for my mom's business. I wanted to go somewhere, but Tashi went somewhere else with my mom instead and lost the cellphone while they were gone...I'm worried to the max!
We called all the lost and founds but it hasn't turned up!! Yikes!
While they were gone (Mia and Noah went too) I had some alone time and watched "Gentlemen's Agreement" (starring Gregory Peck). It was pretty good.
For family home evening we updated our 72 hour kits. We do that every September for a family home evening lesson. But I sware it's either a 1000 hour kit or we're going to share with other people because we have so much stuff. We have at least 5 giant duffel bags filled with stuff. And they weigh so much! I don't know if we'll be able to grab them and run in an emergency!
And I'm overwhelmed with all my assigments in school.
Right now I have to send in this portfolio assignment for English:
  1. Coversheet (p. 115)
  2. Photo essay with instructor grading rubric - 45 points
  3. SQ4R textbook form (found in Lesson 2 page 21) - 15 points
  4. Life story free writing assignment - 40 points
  5. Personal narrative rough draft and mentor suggestions - 15 points
  6. Personal narrative final draft with instructor grading rubric - 40 points
  7. Assignments in correct order - 5 points

It's worth 20% of my grade! Help me! And then I have that learning journal I have to give in soon too!!!

Enjoy yourself with this instead of listening to my whinning. Here's "What I've Been Looking For" sung by Sharpay (Ashley Tisdale) and Ryan (Lucas Grabeel) from HS Musical:
